Keep this page honest: it must describe the cookies your deployed site actually sets. If you add analytics or an embedded player later, this list has to grow with it.
What a cookie is
A small text file a site asks your browser to keep, so that the next page you load knows something the last one learned — that you are signed in, say, or that you already answered a banner. It can only be read back by the site that set it.
What we use
Strictly necessary cookies only. There is no analytics script on this site, no advertising pixel, no fingerprinting, and no third party that receives anything about your visit.

meridian.consent— stores whether you chose Essential only or Accept all in the banner, so you are not asked on every page. First-party, set by this site, kept for 12 months. Strictly necessary.

Managing them
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the one above simply means the banner reappears on each visit; nothing else breaks. Clearing site data for this domain removes it immediately.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Those requests do not set cookies, but they do reveal your IP address to that provider. If you would rather avoid it, self-host the two font files and remove the preconnect tags from the page head.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and comparable laws elsewhere, non-essential cookies need your consent before they are set, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Since we set none, there is nothing to withdraw — but the right stands, and the privacy policy covers the rest.
