Open Terminal
Press ⌘ Space to open Spotlight, type Terminal, and press Return. Terminal ships with macOS — there is nothing to install to get it.

Install Meridian on your Mac
Three steps, about a minute. Copy the command, paste it into Terminal, press Return.
The command below is plain text — read it before you run it.
It is brew install --cask meridian, nothing more, so you can see it fetches Meridian through Homebrew and does nothing else. If any site ever hands you a long scrambled or encoded string to paste into Terminal, stop: that pattern hides what actually runs on your machine, and it is how much of macOS malware spreads.
Run the installation
